The Georgetown Building Gym provides a safe, convenient, and supportive environment that promotes health and well-being of the GU-Q community. Open to all GU-Q students, faculty, and staff, the facility is designed to encourage physical activity and support a healthy lifestyle. Students, employees and their families can also enjoy access to sports facilities located in the HBKU Student Center (Multaqa), the QF Recreation Center, and the Awsaj Recreation Center.

Our newly upgraded gym features premium Technogym equipment, offering the latest in fitness technology to accommodate a wide range of fitness goals, abilities, and training styles. Whether you’re beginning your fitness journey or looking to take your workouts to the next level, the GU-Q Gym provides the tools and space to help you succeed.

In addition to the GU-Q gym, GUQ-Wellness offers a wide variety of in-house group exercise classes for GU-Q staff, faculty and students. 

Hours and Rules of Operation

The GU-Q gym is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can access the facility by using your GU-Q ID card.

If you are using the gym for the first time, please remember to sign a Gym Waiver. A QR code is also available in the gym for easy access to the waiver form.

As a reminder, the GU-Q gym is situated above the office spaces, and excessive noise can disrupt the focus of the staff working below. To ensure a conducive environment, please refrain from dropping weights during your workouts and diligently re-rack equipment after use. Gym rules and regulations. Your cooperation and adhering to these guidelines is greatly appreciated.
