Gym
The Georgetown Building gym provides a safe, convenient, and healthy campus environment for GU-Q faculty, staff and students by providing physical fitness facilities and wellness support.
Access to the gym is open to students, faculty and staff. Students also enjoy access to HBKU’s Student Center and Recreation Center facilities.
The GU-Q gym is equipped with professional quality exercise equipment from Hammer Strength, Life Fitness, and other top companies.

In addition to the GU-Q gym, a wide variety of in-house group exercise classes are available to GU-Q staff, faculty and students through GUQ-Wellness.
Hours and Rules of Operation
The GU-Q gym is now open 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
There are no capacity restrictions, but all visitors are expected to sign in at the entrance and clean equipment after use. If you are using the gym for the first time, please remember to sign a Gym Waiver. Paper copies are also available at the gym’s entrance.
Users are requested to clean and re-rack equipment after use.
Please respect the ladies only hours at the gym. Men are not allowed inside the gym during these three time slots:
- Sundays: 5.00 – 6.30PM
- Tuesdays: 5.00 – 6.30PM
- Wednesdays: 3.30 – 5.00PM
